Wow. So beautifully expressed. My question is this: I am coming at this from the opposite side; I don’t like what Trump stands for. When my friends start to think corona isn’t real and we shouldn’t wear masks, for example, or go down the rabbit hole of dangerous conspiracy theories like Qanon, it is hard for me to look past it because their views sometimes essentially seem to be showing a disregard for human life, or prioritizing their personal whims over other people’s right to live. What then? In your opinion, is there any point at which divergent views ARE a reason to end a friendship?
